Internet Safety Tips For All
With the advent of the digital world it is important for us to protect our data from hackers. So here are some tips for internet safety.
1.Passwords- All the accounts that we use are password protected. Usually we all keep the same password for all our accounts as it is easy to remember. This is wrong because it makes our accounts more vulnerable . Instead we can use similar passwords. Like the password for Instagram can be myinstagram1156' and the password for facebook can be 'myfacebook1156'.
2. URLs- A URL is the line of complex code you see in the search bar of a search engine while loading. If it begins with 'https' then it is safe. If begins with 'http' then it is unsafe and it is advisable not to go to the website.

 3. Secure Internet Connection- When we go online in a public place, for example by using a public Wi-Fi connection, we have no direct control over its security. Cyber security experts worry about "endpoints"—the places where a private network connects to the outside world. Your vulnerable endpoint is your local Internet connection. Make sure your device is secure, and when in doubt, wait for a better time (i.e., until you're able to connect to a secure Wi-Fi network) before providing information such as your bank account number.
4. Antivirus Programmes- Internet security software cannot protect against every threat, but it will detect and remove most malware—though you should make sure it's up to date. Be sure to stay current with your operating system's updates and update applications you use. They provide a vital layer of security.
5.Personal Information-NEVER share your personal information online with any strangers. Also do not give out sensitive information like banking details to unknown people.

Quite informative for people like us who are not not used to these modern gadgets and technology.
